Belur is known for its architectural achievements with Rajagopura or gate arches, Kappe Channigraya temple and Ranganayaki temple. The pillars exhibit details and finishing of sculpture and art work.
After completing our Chikmagalur trip on the way to Bangalore, we visited Belur temple, a town municipal council renowned for its Chennakeshava temple.
